An Important Announcement by Sai-Reba

Hello everyone; apologies for the break in updates (had an emergency to deal with). Before the announcement, I have some questions to ask you. I love 2Kingdoms alot but at the same time I wonder whether this story is really worth sharing. I don't have many fans and so I wonder what it is the few fans I do have like about this story.

Is it the art? I'm not trying to be egotistical, but I know for a fact my drawing style isn't half-bad; definite room for improvement, but not terrible.

Is it the story? I like complicated twists and turns in my reads and I like being surprised. I tried to do that with 2K to some extent but this is the first serial comic I've drawn seriously, so I know I'm not a pro at it just yet.

Is it the characters? Do any of the cast just really stick out to you and make you want to read more about them? I'd appreciate some answers, if you'd be kind enough to comment.

As for the announcement, well...2Kingdoms is going to be taking a break. No, this is not one of those infamous hiatus' where the story never gets finished. I have 100% intent to finish; I have the whole thing scripted out, so it'd be kind of silly not too. I just want time to step away from 2K and do some evaluating. And this break has an actual time limit: January 2011. By then I will have drawn out all the story pages from this point to the end and likely start updating on a PER CHAPTER basis, which is how I wanted 2Kindgoms to operate in the first place.
Anywho, thanks for taking the time to read all this. And thanks especially for being a reader. You guys keep me motivated, you know, and I appreciate every one of you. See you in the new year.

I love both story and the characters! I don't know what kind of advice I could give you, because I wish I could do such a comic as you do, but I do not know how.

I am a die-hard fan and I want to know how the story ends. Remember that ^^

... Well, I haven't even read this yet, but it could be that people just don't know about this. It doesn't even have a TVtropes page, and I have no idea how it ended up in my gigantic Webcomics list. (Literally gigantic). There are a lot of webcomics competing with you.

Wordy? I enjoy reading stories with wonderful, twisty, juicy plots. Those are the ones I keep coming back to. So, when I first found your comic, I thought it was very well written. Not to mention it has a sweet combination of an underwater theme and an art style with a cuter touch to it. Nice balance! [trying to make sense] Uh... What I mean is, a lot of comics I've seen lean either "cool plot- heavy- serious drawing" or "not so much plot- but lots of cuteness". Ones like yours that find that sweet spot in the middle make me very happy. I like both the story and the art style. Thank you very much for sharing it with us.

As for characters, hm... there isn't exactly one that stands out the 'most' to me. More important than that- they all kind of have a special chemistry together, a nice mix of personalities (it's fun watching them interact). I think it takes a special kind of storyteller to get people to like something about each character, even the not-so-nice/ bad guys.
Random blurbs:

-Diane is very, very cool. As cool as she is pretty. I love her intro with all of the punches! She might be my favorite, I think. It's a tough pick... Oy.

-Apollo is the "fluffeh" kind of cute. When I see him, I get the urge to cuddle him and his blue hair. (huge fan of ponytails)

-Juno gives off a different kind of cuteness vibe, the kind that makes me say 'awww' every time she shows up (especially her blushes~)

-Paris... muahaha! Because he's a cool, serious sort of person, I have the bad habit of teasing him for fun. Somehow, I feel like tugging on his ears.

-Pyou... should not sit next to anyone. Especially Apollo. Otherwise, I WILL have to hug them. That would be too much fluffiness for me to resist. (I want a Kayer as a pet, too.)

I'm wondering why you don't have many fans, I just read this a few minutes ago, and I love it.
I sure hope you continue with it, despite not having very many fans, this is one of the comics that deserves to go on and will become famous someday, even if it takes a little while~
